There was an urgent request from a residential school for mentally challenged children at Vadalur near Cuddalore. The 40 resident students are destitute orphans, who are taken care by Mr.Venkatesh who is physically challenged. During rainy season there are frequent power cuts and the children start crying in darkness.
An inverter was procured at a cost of Rs.25,000/- and setup at the school with the help of Manidhanalam Development Trust, Chidambaram.
